  • RODENTS

Mice can multiply quickly, 35-60 days to maturity. Average number of litters is 6-8 pups per litter, while females can push reproduction near 43-45 rodents. They’re very common in all cities, towns, and in fields. Burrowing during the warmer months in shrubs, parks, planters, and in and around homes, they can and will breed all year.

Seeking shelter from adverse conditions such as heat, cold, or wet conditions—mice will find your home or your garage or your shed just ideal. Be aware that when you see the "droppings" you may not see the urine also left behind. Food contamination is common. Mice will consume water but are also adapted to surviving without water by consuming foods containing some moisture. Call us here at any time to discuss options for total elimination and for a thorough inspection to rodent "proof" the house.

Not so cute when they are in your attic!

Squirrels can be destructive and dangerous when wires are chewed and can ruin and contaminate insulation with urine and associated parasites. Often clients will hear them in the early morning running or scratching in the walls or above the ceilings.

Entry points are usually from a soffit (that area just below the gutters) or from the corner of the roof line or from a gable vent or from almost any area including a crawl space or the chimney.Tapping on the ceiling or walls may, for the moment, frighten them, but they aren't going away. • RACCOONS

    OH NO! Now What?

Raccoons usually enter from a chimney and make a home on either side of the flue areas where there is a 12-18 inch gap space between the flue and the side of the chimney. They will also enter via a gable vent and find your attic quite comfortable, or they may just tear up roof shingles and enter directly through the roof board. Crawl spaces and sheds are likely areas they call home. If you think that there is a Raccoon issue, call for a fast response to determine the very best way to eliminate them. Rabies as well as associated parasites, urine and droppings are hazardous.

Great climbers and opportunists, raccoons will feed in the trash and find bird feeders a great source of nourishment. Call us here at any time.

  • RATS

No one likes them, no one wants them near. They are ever present and are extremely keen at hiding from detection. Residential as well as Commercial/Industrial areas will see them scamper along with their whiskers close to a wall and then disappear into some safe zone where they will feel more secure than being out in the open.

Rats have an upper and a lower pair of incisor teeth enabling them to gnaw through a variety of objects to reach food or water or shelter. These incisors will get through wood, plastic, drywall, sheathing, soft cement, copper and lead. Wires and pipes can be damaged causing dangerous conditions. Frequently RAT burrow holes can be found along exterior foundation areas as well as spaces under porches, foundations and garages and sheds. In Massachusetts we have the NORWAY RAT. Other areas of the country will see the ROOF RAT (smaller and a better climber-found frequently in attics).

Pathogens associated with RATS are many.Better to have them eliminated by the professionals.Call us here at any time for a price quote and a great warranty on the service.

  • BATS

What the Heck Are They Doing Here?

Bats swarming around the building. Loose bat inside your home. These are common BAT problems. We will perform a full inspection of your building/house. This is done to determine exactly how the bats are getting in and out.

Exclusion is the process of permitting the bats to fly out, but not back into the house. Seal up the house to keep bats out permanently. This step is CRUCIAL.

The Little Brown bat is common in northern areas and most of the United States. Bat elimination is a specialized process and cannot be done with inexperience.

We have been servicing structures with outstanding success for thirty three years so we look forward to working with you to eliminate all of your Bat issues.

Bat service is somewhat unique in that the structure needs to be serviced as a whole rather than simply the main area(s) where Bats have been seen coming and going.

The reason for this is if all of the probable entry sites are not addressed, then the bats will find these areas as new sites and they will need to find another site to live. We do not want this to happen!

We need to service all small areas along the roof lines, gutter lines, dormers and any other areas where bats may find a re-entry place. We will install our "one way" cone system which will permit the Bats to vacate and will prevent them from returning home again. Then we will close all other possible re-entry sites.

We have an A+ rating with the Boston Better Business Bureau. All of this work is fully guaranteed for THREE YEARS - no questions asked.

  • Bees, Wasps, Hornets, & Stinging Insects

Carpenter bees will always be destructive to wooden areas -usually "drilling" a 3/8th inch diameter hole behind some trim boards or to some facia board areas or even to a wooden hand rail. The female will bore the hole and clients will become aware of the issue by the tell tale "sawdust" they see in piles falling from above.

Usually the Carpenter bees do not sting or bite unless mandated to do so.

Yellowjackets, Wasps and Bald-faced Hornets can be very aggressive and will inflict a nasty sting with lasting pain and swelling. Allergic reactions can be dangerous and deadly.

Don't risk a trip to the emergency room!! We can kill and remove the nest in a clean professional manner. We have the equipment and the protective gear to deal with these pests. We also provide you a lasting warranty.

  • Birds, Woodpeckers, Pigeons, Starlings, Sparrows

Sanitation | Exclusion | Repellents | Sprays | Bird Spikes | Netting | Scary Devices

    The list goes on.

Damage from Birds, Woodpeckers, Pigeons, Starlings, and Sparrows can be considerable to facia and to trim boards or worse. Why are they here is the most often asked question from clients. There are several reasons. The most likely scenario is the woodpeckers are attracted to the area because of the insects found behind the wood trim.

Another possible reason is the mating call. (Although in my 4 decades of service the insects are primarily the reason).

  • FLEAS

    Canine/Feline.

Both are biting and irritating. Infesting your pet as well as carpets, furniture, bedding, basements, and every room in the house.

The cat flea is by far the most common flea found on BOTH dogs and cats in North America. Preparation prior to our service is CRUCIAL for elimination. Flea eggs are concentrated where the "host" spends most of its time. Outside: Fleas are usually located near or under porches and deck areas. Fleas may also come from rodent issues such as rats and mice.

Flea identification and the source must be determined and eliminated. Most FLEA clients come from residences although other areas where wildlife and feral animals come into close proximity will contribute to issues.

On pets treatments should be done by the pet owner in conjunction with their veterinarian.

Call us here at any time to discuss your options and/or preparation. 100% Guaranteed Elimination!

  • SPIDERS

    The Black Widow

    The Brown Recluse

The Common Cellar Spider (usually having long legs)

Spiders usually are given credit for bites way too often than necessary. About a dozen common species account for 90% of all spiders.

If you have issues with spiders in or around the home or property call us and we can help identify and recommend service for elimination.

  • SKUNKS

Certainly everyone is familiar with that "smell". There is nothing like a skunk on the property!!!! That lingering odor that is just nasty. Commonly found living quite comfortably under porches or decks, in garages, in or under sheds, in your basement or workshop. The dog gets sprayed and then runs back into the house. Now what??

We have 35 years of skunk elimination experience. We will determine the very best and fastest removal process so there will be no need for further "worries".

Call us at any time for a realistic quote.

  • MOTHS

There are many species of Moths. In and around the home you can find the Casemaking Clothes moth and the Indian Meal moth. The Casemaking clothes moth will attack your clothes as the name implies.

KERATIN is a protein found in wool, fur, hair, and feathers. The moth will digest the keratin for nutrition and the enzymes in the digestive system of the moth will be secreted and will shrink and break up the molecules in the fabrics. The Indian meal moth is found most commonly in kitchen areas and will feed on grains, seeds, dried fruits, crackers, nuts, and pet food. Carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture are sources of moth issues.

Usually you will unknowingly carry them home from the grocery store as they will be stored in the cereal box, the rice box, or some other food source. It is necessary to locate the source of the infestation and to service surrounding areas to eliminate the adult as well as the larval stages and the pupal stages.

  • ANTS

All species including the dreaded Carpenter Ant.

A major player in the destruction of property across the USA. Usually attracted to "moisture" areas in and around your property. Such as:

    - Under mulch

    - Leaking gutters

    -Air conditioner drips

    - Poor drainage around the house

These guys can easily "navigate" to your home on cable wires and from tree overhangs-loving to nest in and around trees-shrubs and other ornamentals. Unlike Termites, Carpenter Ants will excavate the wooden structural members to expand or to enlarge the space needed as the colony continually grows, while Termites will consume the wood for nutritional needs. If you have questions regarding ants do not hesitate to call us here for an assessment. We will be happy to ID a specimen for you and to discuss easy service options for elimination.
